BMKG: List of Areas to be Affected by Heavy Rain Because of Tropical Cyclone Kenanga
Buletin Digital. The Kenanga tropical cyclone has hit the Indonesian territory on Saturday (12/15/2018) and then precisely around 1,400 Km from Bengkulu, southwest of Sumatra Island.

The Kenanga tropical cyclone has an impact on the acceleration of wind in a number of regions leading to the arrival of heavy rain, the following areas which have the potential to be hit by heavy rain.
Increased wind speed, which tends to be caused by air mass flow from the southern part of Central Indonesia, is also predicted to occur on the southern island of Java, including Banten, DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, D.I. Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali, NTB, and NTT.

The BMKG urges the public to remain vigilant about the potential for hydrometeorological disasters such as floods, flash floods, landslides and strong winds, especially for areas that have received high intensity rain in a few days.
In addition, people who are active in the waters especially south of Sumatra Island are also aware of the potential for high waves and strong winds.
