Only Pertamina alone has not reduced the price of non-subsidized fuel

Pojok Fakta. Although the price of world crude oil has decreased, however, PT Pertamina (Persero) has still not reduced the price of non-subsidized fuel until 10 October 2018. In fact, other business entities have reduced the price of non-subsidized fuel sold at their gas stations.

Pertamina's Corporate Communication Vice President Adiatma Sardjito said that Pertamina was still evaluating fuel prices. He did not explain the reason for the decline in non-subsidized fuel prices sold by Pertamina.

The government itself has warned that Pertamina and BBM distributor companies that have not reduced the price of non-subsidized fuel to adjust prices no later than January 2019. The decline in non-subsidized fuel prices is in line with the decline in world oil prices.

Previously, the Director General of Oil and Gas said there were three companies that had not reduced the price of non-subsidized fuel, namely PT Pertamina (Persero), Shell Indonesia and Exxon. The three companies also promised to reduce non-subsidized fuel prices in January 2019.

The government still knows that the three companies have not reduced the price of non-subsidized fuel in December because there are still oil stocks purchased, thirdly, oil prices are still high. "There is a lot of stock," Djoko said on Tuesday (11/12/2018).

Therefore, the government will still wait for the realization of the decline in non-subsidized fuel for the three companies until January 2019. If the price is not also lowered, the government will recall Pertamina,

Shell, and Exxon. Shell and ExxonMobil last week directly reduced the price of non-subsidized fuel. Shell Indonesia has reduced the price of non-subsidized fuel as of December 13, 2018. Shell reduced the price of regular Shell type fuel by Rp 550 / liter in the Jabodetabek area. The Shell Regular price per November 2 is IDR 10,550 per liter to IDR 10,000 per liter as of December 13, 2018. For the Bandung region, the regular Shell price is IDR 10,500 per liter.

Besides Shell Reguler, the price of fuel sold by Shell Indonesia is still the same. Especially for the Jabodetabek area, Shell Super is sold for Rp. 10,750-10,850 per liter, Shell V-Power is sold at Rp. 12,300-12,450 per liter, and Shell Diesel sells for Rp. 12,100-12,250 per liter.

While ExxonMobil is noted to have reduced the 92R fuel price for the West Java and Banten regions. As of December 12, 2018, the price of 92R fell by Rp. 1,100 per liter from Rp. 10,900 per liter to Rp 9,800 per liter.
